2. Inquisitive: Always ask lots of questions, starting with the big 3: Who is the client? Who is the customer? What does the client want to accomplish? Ask qustions to avoid making uneducated assumptions.

3. Thoughtful: Research and define the target market well. Visualize the target. Personify the target. Be the target. Emphathize with the target. Craft every marketing piece with the target in mind.

4. Thrifty: Always respect the client's budget. Work diligently and effectively. Be a bargain at any price! Use the timer like a stop watch so only work time is billable and the client doesn't get charged for coffee breaks, loading the dryer, taking phone calls from mom.

5. Succinct: Keep the design clean and the text breif: The message should speak loud and clear and should speak louder than the design. Don't get caught up in bells and whistles.
